"WINNING YOUR BATTLES"

Text: Deuteronomy 20:1-4

“When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, [and] a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the LORD thy God [is] with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. And it shall be, when ye are come nigh unto the battle, that the priest shall approach and speak unto the people, And shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them; For the LORD your God [is] he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.”

Life is a battle, believe it or not, life is a battle.
Anyone that must make a head way in life, the person must be ready to fight.
"If you don’t stand for something, you will fall for anything and everything".
"If you don’t know where you are going, the place you are will look like the place you ought to be"
No matter how tough the battle is, a child of God is not supposed to lose any battle , because Jesus has fought over 90% of the battle.Those looking for battle free zones in life, end up being disappointed.

Note these about battles:
1. God will initiate some battles for you. He will sponsor that battle. Such battles will not mar you, but make you.
Nobody will be wise and smart in life without going through life experiences. You cannot win any battle without being trained for that battle.

2. There are battles God will fight for you without your knowledge. he will deal with your enemies, even without your knowledge.

3. There are battles God will fight with your knowledge. After deliverance or prayer sessions, you see result.

4. There are some battles your parents must fight for you. If these battles are not fought by your parents, then you are already disadvantaged.

5. There are battles you must fight yourself, but with the backings and weapons of God.

6. There are battles you must not fight; you must walk away from such battles!

As a Christian you should be able to know the battles you will fight and the ones you are not even supposed to get involved.
We have an arc enemy that is wicked, evil, unrepentant, very aggressive, intolerant, uncompromising, never tired and unrelenting. so we should sit up.
The enemy fights dirty and can use any weapon or means to ensure he does not lose the battle. The devil is ready to break every available laws and rules to ensure he does not get defeated. The enemy likes victory.
God does not only give patterns for building, he gives pattern for everything. No gentle man has ever been able to recover anything from the enemy. So you have to fight!

To win your battles you must know these:

1. You must know the battle ground. The battle ground is in the mind. That is where all battles start from.

Every battle in life is won or lost in the mind. Every battle is always fought spiritually before it manifests physically.

Every battle lost in the mind is already lost in the physical.

Mind pollution is total destiny pollution. Madness starts from the mind and not from the brain.

2. Know the strength and weakness of your opponent.

When you pray a particular prayer or do a spiritual exercise, and the battle gets stronger, know that it is time to face the battle.

Every Goliath has an unprotected forehead and every Saul has a careless Armour bearer.

When you approach the strength of the enemy, you will have problem, but if you fight the weakness of the enemy, you become victorious.

3. Know your weapons. Understand your weapons. You must understand how to use your weapons to fight.
4. Know how to use your weapon. One thing is having a weapon, another is knowing how to use it and when to use it.

What is the use of a loaded gun to a man holding it who does not know how to use it?

5. You don’t exert same tactics and strategies for all enemies. You need to understand the best strategy to fight any kind of enemy.

6. Organise yourself and your strategies for the battles if you must win the battle.

The devil that we are fighting and his cohorts are very organised so you must not be disorganized to fight an organised enemy!

Some people are disorganized that it has become part of their lives.

7. Act and don’t re-act!

Most Christians re-act to the detects and actions of the enemy. You dont have to wait for the enemy to strike before you react.
Attack is the best form of defense, so act, and don’t wait to re-act.
To re-act means that the enemy has thrown the first arrow against you. Be an actor and not a reactor.

8. Be a hearer and a seer!

If you are in right standing with God, He will always speak to you and when He speaks, you will hear. Reason why many don’t hear from God is because we don’t obey general instructions given by God.

9. Always obey the commander in chief...God

10. Be a worshiper..

11. Don’t win the war and lose the battle.

PRAYERS:
•Calabash power die in the mighty name of Jesus
•Let the weapons of the calabash power catch fire in the name of Jesus.
•Every wickedness of the wicked of the calabash against me catch fire in the name of Jesus
•Night calabash against my destiny catch fire in the name of Jesus
•Morning calabash against my life catch fire in the name of Jesus.
•Whosoever that is consulting calabash power against my destiny, wherever you are catch fire in the name of Jesus.
•Every good thing that the calabash has captured in my life, be released by fire in the name of Jesus
•Battles from my father’s house messing me up every day , scatter in the name of Jesus.
•Every evil covenant entered in by my ancestors tormenting my life, expire now in the name of Jesus.
•Wicked remnants in my foundation catch fire in the name of Jesus.
•The battle that has vowed not to go until I die, you are a liar, die in the name of Jesus.
•Every power saying I will never know peace from January to December, you are a liar, die in the name of Jesus.
•Witch craft activities assigned to bury my money backfire in the name of Jesus.
•Powers boasting that when they hold me down nothing will happen , die in the name of Jesus
•My father, where my plenty in the midst of scarcity is, open my eyes to see it in the name of Jesus.
•When I should be active, powers that want me to be disorganised, catch fire in the name of Jesus.
•Whosoever that is taking my name to dangerous places, where ever you are, catch fire in the name of Jesus.
•My father, where ever the enemies have buried me or any good thing about my life, bring us out by fire in the name of Jesus.
